Deal of the Day: Up to 30% Off Maternity Pillows at BabyCenter Store
Category:
Deal of the Day

What: Up to 30% Off Maternity Pillows at BabyCenter Store
Why: Besides being huge, one of the things I remember most about being pregnant was always being uncomfortable in bed. I had one pillow under my head, another under my arm, one between my legs and another propped up against my back. My poor husband barely had enough room and ended up buying a king-size bed.
An easier solution would have been to buy a maternity pillow. The right pillow does the work of three and leaves ample space on the bed for your husband. If you’re shopping around for that perfect maternity pillow, head to BabyCenter Store first and find over a dozen on sale. We love the J-shaped
Snoozer Goose Down Body Pillow
($161.96), but if that’s too much of a splurge they also have a
non-goose down version
on sale for $53.96 that’s just as comfortable.

DadFinds Friday: Billy Jealousy is Worth the Splurge
Category:
Dad
What: Billy Jealousy Skin and Hair Care
Why: It’s always kind of fun when I find new grooming products for my husband, especially when it’s a line with a sense of humor and commitment to giving back. Billy Jealousy (great name huh?) donates a portion of its proceeds to the arts, environment and “human needs” organizations. The labels are kind of fun and the male “models” on the Web site are a scream.
So what about the products? The Hydroplane Shave Cream ($20) was voted the number one shaving cream by Esquire Magazine in 2007. It smells great, like a minty orange, and promises to protects against razor drag, nicks, bumps and ingrown hairs, things I believe most men like to avoid.
Follow it up with Shaved Ice ($25). My guy liked the way it moisturized and felt cool at the same time, and again, it smells sexy and was named “Best Splurge” by Men’s Health Magazine. I agree that it’s worth the splurge, especially for Father’s Day.
Billy also has products for the face including Combat Lines, an anti-aging moisturizer and Wipe Out eye cream along with a few hair care items worth checking out.
Price: $16 and up

Kid Find: Cool Crane Tee for the Tough Trucks Fan
Category:
Children's Fashion
What: Winter Water Factory Crane Tee
Why: When you can’t bear to dress your tough truck fanatic in another Bob the Builder or John Deere tee, here’s an awesome tee from Winter Water Factory to save the day. The bright orange crane and gray boulders are hand-printed with water-based inks on the softest organic cotton tee, and it doesn’t take long to get that comfy, lived-in feel. Your kid will be living in it, so good luck getting him to pick something else to wear. But if that’s the case, there’s also a
Bulldozer tee.

Beauty Find: French Organic Skin Care You’ll Want to Get to Know
Category:
Mom Beauty

What: Lift’Argan Organic Skin Care from France
Why: If you are one of those product-loving moms who keeps an eye out for the “new great thing” in skincare, here’s a product line you’ll want to get to know. Now in the U.S., this French line uses Argan oil as it’s core ingredient. Sourced from Morocco, this oil is supposedly called “Liquid Gold” by women who live there to its numerous enriching effects on the skin. Argan oil is extracted from seeds found in the fruit of the Argan tree (Argania Spinosa), a native tree of Morocco. Argan oil is rich in Omega 6 and Omega 9 as well as hydrating vitamin A and antioxidant vitamin E.
The
Express Mask is a great way to unwind and plump up stressed out or sunned out skin at the end of a big week. You will definitely notice a difference in how your skin feels. Another great find for total body is the
Nourishing Body Balm, which contains argan oil and a blend of shea and mango butters, camelina and borage oils. It is also packed with tamanu oil which promotes anti-aging and toning of the skin by stimulating collagen production.
Price: $40 mask; $35 body balm
