Why: There was a milestone day in my journey through motherhood when I realized that I did not need to carry both a handbag and a “diaper” bag. I could thin the contents of each and carry one multipurpose bag, like a henjen handbag. They are roomy, but not giant; cute, but (thanks to vinyl covering) not perishable. The design is simple featuring an exterior pocket, magnetic snap closure and an interior key fob. The straps are made of cotton webbing covered in fabric. Eco-Find: Reusable Shopping Bags with Style

Why: For a while, I schlepped back and forth from the grocery store with an armful of unwieldy, ugly burlap bags all in the name of earth friendliness. Yes, I was saving bags, but boy were these bags ever ugly.
You no longer need to suffer through the same fate in order to be eco-friendly. The line of reusable bags from Envirosax are made from lightweight, waterproof polyester that is incredibly strong (equivalent to two supermarket plastic bags), and folds up into a portable 4x1.5in. pouch that can be easily stashed in your bag. But they are also so incredibly stylish that I actually get stopped all the time by people asking me where I got my “purse.” (Seriously.) Tell Us: Just How Much Do You Love this Gucci Bag?

 Have you bought your “It” bag for spring? I just did. Except it’s a bag from a while back. Just tonight I finally sprung for the purse of my dreams, the day it got marked down from $200 to $60. I’ve been visiting it for months, promising I would give it a home and tonight I was true to my word.
But my dream bag is no Gucci Joy Boston Bag. Pretty isn’t it? Especially if you love black and white. Tote this around the mall and you’re sure to attract attention. People will probably think you’re a celebrity in disguise.
However, your fashionista status comes at a price, $1950 before tax. I have never come close to spending that much on a sofa, never mind a handbag.
