As Seen on Oprah: Cindy Crawford Lives in these T-Shirts
Category: As Seen In Celebrities Jewelry Mom Fashion Tees
If you were watching Oprah the other day, you got to peek into supermodel Cindy Crawford’s closet. So what does a mom who can wear just about anything by anyone, spend most of her time in? T-shirts by Promomcouture. “I love these T-shirts because they’re all about being a mom, but I think they’re cute,” she’s quoted as saying on a show recap at Oprah.com.
I can see what she likes about these tees. They’re clever and colorful and look really comfy. I like the Grateful Mom tee and especially this time of year, Vote for Mom. They’re $38 each and if you buy two tees you get a free subscription to Redbook. (Oprah must love that!)
What else does Cindy love? Well, she’s pretty fond of the photo pendant created by Kelly Gerber, her mother-in-law. Unfortunately we’re not related to Kelly so the pendant will set us back $2,400. But you can find similar, more affordable pieces in our Personalized Jewelry for Moms Guide.
So I’ll just stick with the T-shirts. To see more cool tees, check out our Hot Tees for Moms Guide. I have my eye on the light blue Peace T-shirt on sale for $14 at grumpygirls.com.
Now I’ll confess “my stuck on a desert island, I’ll never get rid of it T-shirt”, is my incredibly soft souvenir tee from a festival in my old neighborhood in Washington, DC. I’ve had this shirt for...let’s just say if it was a person it would just be old enough to vote.
How about you? What shirt do you live in? The one they’ll have to tear from your body with you kicking and screaming?

Fashion Find: Royalty Girl Tees
Category: Mom Fashion Tees
What: Royalty Girl Tees
Why: Yes, there are a lot of fun, fabulous and flirty tees out there. But can you really have too many? This one, from Royalty Girl, brings me back to the days when my room was one big rainbow, and I had hair that wasn’t ravaged by Summer Blonde and pregnancy. We’re all “Sweet Chickies”, so the slogan works, and the rainbow stripes and cute fit of the sleeves, plus the longer length for low-rise jeans makes this tee a summer must-have. And there are tons of other designs, too.
Price: $25

Fashion Find: Living the Dream Tees Are More than Just Beachworthy
Category: Mom Fashion Tees
What: Living the Dream Tees Are More than Just Beachworthy
Why: There are tons of fun and funny tees out there, but most of them are a little too “boardwalk” and not enough “boo-yah.” The team at LTDChix (Living the Dream) has come up with a variety of tongue-in-cheek graphics on buttery soft tees that depict moms at their best. Whether it’s haulin’ the beach cart, drivin’ the mini-van or coaching little league, you can’t help but giggle and give in to temptation.
You’re guaranteed to get nods, laughs, high-fives and requests for the URL for this Web site so fellow moms can buy their own Living the Dream tee. The Beach Mom one is hilarious and with a double-layer baby tee style, it’s flattering too, so you feel good wearing it. Oh, and if you’re a cold-weather climate mom, check out the Winter Mom thermal tee, complete with coats, hats, scarves… you know the drill.
Price: $23
Find it: LTDChix.com

Summer Style Tips from Lauren Kiyomi: How to Look Stylish While Pregnant
Category: Celebrities How To Maternity Maternity Jeans Tees
Summer Style Tips from Lauren Kiyomi’s Willie Udagawa:
You’ve seen her gorgeous tops and dresses on pregnant celebrity moms like Tori Spelling and Dayna Devon. Here’s how to pull it all together for that “pregnant and still fabulous” look by Willie Udagawa, founder of Lauren Kiyomi Maternity Fashions.
1. Think outside the box and don’t be afraid to mix things up. Add a turtleneck or long-sleeve tee under a chiffon blouse or pair a summer top with trousers and sandals.
2. Follow the same rule that applies to your non-pregnant style: balance. One piece should be structured. Fuller trousers should be paired with a cropped jacket or tailored blouse; baby doll tops with straight legs to minimize volume.
3. Lace, ruffles and fine detail are key for the season, but should not draw attention away from your belly! Look for details in the cuffs, around the neckline or at the hemline. Skirts with details at the hemline draw attention away from hips and the underside of the belly.
