Mom Find: Breastfeed Easily and (More Importantly) in Style
Category: Mom Fashion Tops Breastfeeding Poll

What: Hotslings launches new line of nursing tops that add style to something functional
Why: Nursing tops help breastfeeding women feed their babies in discreet ways, and they’re the perfect example of functional fashion, but they’re usually anything BUT stylish. Milkdaze, a new line by the makers of Hotslings aims to fix that.
Milkdaze, available in March 2008, will feature six different styles of tops that come in fun and trendy graphic prints or plain but beautiful solids. The line borrows its ideas from the current trends and will have tops in every style, from tunics to sleeveless wrap tops, tanks, cap sleeves, hoodies and poet sleeves. All styles will have price points between $40 and $50.
When asked about her line, Kristen DeRocha, founder of Hotslings and Milkdaze, said, “We created Milkdaze to help encourage the new culture of modern, breastfeeding moms. Breastfeeding in public is considered somewhat taboo in our society. Not only do we want to make breastfeeding easier to do through our Milkdaze collection, but we want to mainstream public breastfeeding and help moms get the respect they deserve.” Hear! Hear!
Price: $40-$50 depending on style

MomFinds Solution: Mind the Gap with No See ‘ems
Category: Mom Fashion Tops Solutions

What: No See ‘ems
Why: If you have a button front blouse that gaps or gapes, give No See ‘ems a try. I get the gaps in tops that are a bit small at certain times of the month, and on others that, due to button placement, just open. No See ‘ems are small contraptions that consist of a clear plastic middle that fits behind your button and adhesive on the top and bottom that attach to your blouse. They look like band aids. The whole thing is worn inside your clothing, so no one sees it. The button holder keeps everything from sliding side to side, while the sticky parts adhere firmly to the shirt, taping it in place. No See ‘ems are an easy way to tame a blouse you like that has a mind of its own.
Price: $12.95 pack of 12

Fashion Solution: Control Your Cleavage
Category: Mom Accessories Fashion Tops Solutions
What: The Bosom Button
Why: Do you have that dress or top you love as long as you never have to bend at the waist? You can’t have much fun when you’re worried about showing too much or maybe getting stuck by a wayward safety pin. The Bosom Button is a smart and pretty accessory that quickly solves the problem of potential overexposure without looking like you’ve had a fashion emergency. After using a button on a top I never wear because I’m too lazy to sew it up, I was hooked. The Swarkovski crystal looks like jewelry instead of a fast fix, and I can’t think of a prettier way to keep those pre-maternity tops in rotation just a bit longer.
You can pick up a single button or a set of three. Keep one in the car for that unexpected wardrobe malfunction that always occurs at the worst time possible.
Price: $12 for one button or $25 for a set of three
Find it: bosombutton.com

This limited edition polo has a more relaxed fit than some of Ralph’s other polos, guaranteeing comfort and flattery. It features all the traditional details, including a two-button placket, ribbed polo collar, uneven vented hem and, of course, the Pink Pony logo embroidered at the sleeve and over your heart.
Price: $90, with 100 percent of the proceeds supporting Pink Pony initiatives. At Morgan’s request, these funds will be directed to the Boca Raton Community Hospital in Boca Raton, Florida.

Fashion Find: Little Lark Goes Big
Category: Dad Mom Fashion Tops
What: Shirts for Mom and Dad from Little Lark
Why: A few months ago, I reviewed a most excellent line of silkscreened Ts for kids from Little Lark. Since then, Little Lark has been my go-to source for baby gifts, their unique styles with the hand-screened approach on each shirt a perfect gift. But I did covet their line of shirts, and wished they offered shirts with their cool, organic designs in my size.
At last, my wish has come true. Little Lark’s utterly charming and hip line of silk screened shirts now come in sizes for mom and dad. All the designs are earthy—featuring birds, trees, and bikes—and the 100% cotton shirts are sweatshop-free. There are even men’s “under-love” pants for him, a “cheeky” reminder that you’re thinking of him during the day.
Price: $25 and up for shirts, $10 for underpants

Celebrity Style Week: Would You Buy Angelina’s Tattoo T-Shirt?
Category: Celebrities Good Question Mom Fashion Tops Poll
OK, you’re a big fan of Angelina Jolie. You love her style and her commitment to her ever-growing family, and you’re kind of keen on that good looking movie star she spends most of her time with. But, would you go as far as wearing this T-shirt by Doe? Plain white on the front with a few of Jolie’s famous tattoos depicted on the back and shoulder.
We have to admit, this shirt is a conversation piece, and it would be fun to see which of our celeb-savvy friends recognizes the tiger and the “Know Your Rights” written across the back of the neck. But would we spend $46 on the tee? Nope, unless it came with some arm candy à la Brad Pitt.
So tell us, if you could find the shirt (it’s currently sold out at lindsaylou.com) would you buy it, and where would you wear it?
