Tell Us: What Do You Think of Celebs Scoring Millions for Baby Photos?
Category: Celebrities
Did you catch those adorable photos of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s twins in People magazine? The mag sure hopes so, as the word is the couple sold the exclusive rights to the first photos of Max and Emme for $4 to $6 million.
You might remember when Shiloh Jolie-Pitt made her photo debut in People. The magazine paid $4 million and Brad and Angelina gave the money to charity. No word on whether Jen and Marc plan to do the same.
Shelling out big bucks for baby pics seems to be here to stay. According to the L.A. Times, Nicole Richie got a cool million for photos of her baby, and Christina Aguilera got $1.5 million for shots of her son. Celebrities have said in the past, if they sell the photos, the paparazzi won’t camp out at the hospital or their house clamoring for that first shot. But are you telling me now that J Lo’s twins have been in a magazine, photographers won’t bother them anymore? Highly unlikely.
But back to Brangelina. The word is that if Lopez could command $6 million, it might be worth $10 million to get the first candids of the future Jolie-Pitt baby (or babies if the rumors are true). And of course, the couple will again turn that money over to charity.

Baby Find: Brag About Baby Tee Sets…Something to Brag About
Category: Celebrities Children Children's Fashion
What: Coordinating Bodysuit and Bib by Brag About Baby
Why: Because it’s catchy and colorful. Because it’s an up-and-coming trend in Hollywood. Denise Richards, Jason Priestly and Scott Baio are just a few parents who love Brag About Baby bodysuit sets. Whimsical designs and captions are embroidered on the shirts. Baby’s rump also sports a coordinating appliqué. Hats are knot-topped and are highlighted by a caption connecting to the tee graphic. For example: kissy fishy offers a silly “blub blub” on the hat.
Brag About Baby sets are one of those infant clothing basics that aren’t boring. Your friends and even strangers are sure to notice and ask about them, giving you the opportunity to do just that: brag. As if you needed an excuse.
Price: $42

Tell Us: What Do You Think About Celebrity Pregnancy Outing?
Category: Celebrities Poll
When I was pregnant I decided to wait until I was in my fourth month, before I told anyone, but my mother had other ideas. Soon, before I had told anyone, my aunts were calling to congratulate me on my baby-to-be. This happened to other friends, too. We had our own timetable, but we were outed.
These days celebrity pregnancy outing is all the rage. Eat too much at dinner and the tabloids suspect a baby bump. And if you really are pregnant, don’t bother trying to hide it. Angelina Jolie wears a flowing gown at the SAG Awards and she has to be pregnant right? (She was). Lisa Marie Presley says she was forced to go public with her pregnancy after the London Daily Mail published photos of her looking overweight and claimed she was “piling on the pounds” like her dad, ouch. ABC News says she now plans to sue the British newspaper.
And just last week actress Minnie Driver told millions of people she was expecting when Jay Leno mentioned on “The Tonight Show” that it looked like she gained weight and then asked flat-out “Are you pregnant?”
Now, we understand that celebrities give up a bit of privacy in exchange for huge salaries and fabulous perks.

Oscar Blandi: Celebrity Secret to Getting Star-Worthy Hair
Category: Celebrities Mom
What: Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo
Why: Even though most celebs can afford a pricey blowout whenever they want, they still rely on tricks of the trade to keep their hair looking star-worthy. Oscar Blandi is one of Hollywood’s favorite hair gurus, particularly because he has created so many great hair care products for them. And for you, too!
This one, a dry powder shampoo, is a great way to keep your hairstyle (or blowout) looking fresh longer than would normally be possible. Sprinkle it near the roots (it comes in a handy bottle nose dispenser) and watch the winning combo do its magic. Ingredients such as natural rice, oat, and tapioca starches cleanse hair by absorbing excess oil, product, and grease and increase hair volume at the roots without weighing hair down. Then, triclosan and tea tree oil keep your scalp healthy and free of dandruff.
It’s a great product to have on hand not just to preserve the life of your paid-for ‘do, but anytime you are forced to go yet another day without a shower. Sadly, as moms, there seem to be a lot of those!
Price: $19 for 2.5 oz.
