This Week’s Prize: Fisher Price Kid-Tough Digital Camera

Why: Because you have enough photos of your kid and not enough of mom and dad, and because it’s interesting to see the world from your child’s point of view.  Specially designed for little hands, the Fisher-Price Kid Tough Digital Camera is a fun way to introduce your kids to the art of picture-taking.

Virtually indestructible, with a colorful, sturdy exterior shell, the camera can be dropped without breaking (which is guaranteed to happen at least once).  And it’s easy to use; dual hand grips, dual viewfinders and kid-friendly buttons make it super-easy for your mini Leibovitz to get that perfect shot.  Get it free just in time for the holidays!

My daughter loves taking pictures with my phone--and is quick to grab my camera if I'm not watching closely enough. I'd love for her to be able to enjoy taking pictures without the risk of breaking anything.

Posted by gina mullins  on  11/14  at  01:28 PM

Great for kids - just erase all those pictures of the floor and feet!

Posted by lisajk  on  11/14  at  01:29 PM

Every time I pull out my camera my daughter (who will be three on Dec. 9th)snatches it out of my hands. "Can I try? Can I try? Smile Momma!" She's actually taken some pretty awesome pics - but that kids-eye-view means that she catches my belly rolls more often than not! I'd love for her to have he own camera, especially one that can take a bruising.

Posted by Tina W  on  11/14  at  01:33 PM

Because I want my son to love photography as much as I do.

I remember saving and then borrowing money to get my cannon rebel x before my subsidized trip to China 2 years ago. It was the first camera I have owned. I normally barrow them instead of buying because I normally found other necessity that needed funds first.

A person gets to see the world from a specific angle...the photographer's. They can convey images that many people would never get to see otherwise. Often intimate and emotional events.

My kid has an obsession with looking at objects close up. doesn't matter if it is bark on a tree or the hairs on a pet.

I think she sees things the rest of us are too busy to stop and notice. It would be cool to capture it. She would do the Fisher Price camera justice.
