DadFinds Friday: Billy Jealousy is Worth the Splurge
Category: Dad
What: Billy Jealousy Skin and Hair Care
Why: It’s always kind of fun when I find new grooming products for my husband, especially when it’s a line with a sense of humor and commitment to giving back. Billy Jealousy (great name huh?) donates a portion of its proceeds to the arts, environment and “human needs” organizations. The labels are kind of fun and the male “models” on the Web site are a scream.
So what about the products? The Hydroplane Shave Cream ($20) was voted the number one shaving cream by Esquire Magazine in 2007. It smells great, like a minty orange, and promises to protects against razor drag, nicks, bumps and ingrown hairs, things I believe most men like to avoid.
Follow it up with Shaved Ice ($25). My guy liked the way it moisturized and felt cool at the same time, and again, it smells sexy and was named “Best Splurge” by Men’s Health Magazine. I agree that it’s worth the splurge, especially for Father’s Day.
Billy also has products for the face including Combat Lines, an anti-aging moisturizer and Wipe Out eye cream along with a few hair care items worth checking out.
Price: $16 and up
