Summer Style Tips from Lauren Kiyomi: How to Look Stylish While Pregnant

Category: Celebrities How To Maternity Maternity Jeans Tees

Summer Style Tips from Lauren Kiyomi’s Willie Udagawa:

You’ve seen her gorgeous tops and dresses on pregnant celebrity moms like Tori Spelling and Dayna Devon.  Here’s how to pull it all together for that “pregnant and still fabulous” look by Willie Udagawa, founder of Lauren Kiyomi Maternity Fashions. image

1. Think outside the box and don’t be afraid to mix things up. Add a turtleneck or long-sleeve tee under a chiffon blouse or pair a summer top with trousers and sandals.

2. Follow the same rule that applies to your non-pregnant style: balance. One piece should be structured. Fuller trousers should be paired with a cropped jacket or tailored blouse; baby doll tops with straight legs to minimize volume.

3. Lace, ruffles and fine detail are key for the season, but should not draw attention away from your belly! Look for details in the cuffs, around the neckline or at the hemline. Skirts with details at the hemline draw attention away from hips and the underside of the belly.
