If you’re a busy mom who can’t be bothered taking a lot of time for makeup, lip gloss is no doubt a staple in your life. Here are five great glosses for fall (and anytime) that will not only provide a little shine but help protect, too.
Pop Beauty Ribbon Mini Gloss Pots ($10): These little palm-sized tins contain three coordinated shades of Pop’s deluxe lip gel. They contain jojoba oil and a yummy vanilla cake flavor. Buy a bunch and stash them in various places.
Three Custom Color Light Brights High-Shine Gloss ($18.50): Like a throwback to the ‘70s, these super-shiny wands were a hit on the summer runway but they are great for year-round fun. In four shades, Area, Danceteria, Limelight and Palladium.
MAC Cosmetics Lipglass ($14): This tube gloss works as well as any balm to keep lips supple but in gorgeous, no-fuss shades that add a hint of color. You won’t let it out of your sight.
Mentha Lip Tints from Bigelow ($7.50): For less than $8, these tube glosses with a hint of peppermint oil are a steal. Now in muted tints for a hint of color, you can use it like a balm but benefit from a light shade. The Bare Mint gives an incredibly natural glow.
NARS Lip Gloss in Dolce Vita ($24): This lip gloss is a Sephora award winner and coveted by many in the Hollywood scene. Its subtle, dusty rose shade is perfect for absolutely anyone.
